V GUARD IND. share price has zoomed 3% and is presently trading at Rs 471.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 71,525.4 (down 2.7%).

Bharat Forge (down 5.1%) and GRINDWELL NORTON (down 3.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, V GUARD IND. has moved up from Rs 283.0 to Rs 471.0, registering a gain of Rs 188.0 (up 66.4%).

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,271.9 (down 1.8%). Tata Motors and Hindalco are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,459.3 to 79,486.0, registering a gain of 13,026.7 points (up 19.6%).

V GUARD IND. net profit grew 54.1% YoY to Rs 990 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 642 million a year ago. Net sales rose 21.6% to Rs 14,771 million during the period as against Rs 12,148 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, V GUARD IND. reported 36.2% increase in net profit to Rs 2,576 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,891 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 17.7% to Rs 48,567 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of V GUARD IND., based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 70.1.
