Thermax share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 4,605.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 66,327.9 (up 0.4%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are ADANI GREEN ENERGY (down 3.1%) and Carborundum Universal (down 2.8%).

V GUARD IND. (up 7.7%) and SKF India (up 5.3%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Thermax has moved up from Rs 2,895.5 to Rs 4,605.0, registering a gain of Rs 1,709.5 (up 59.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 48,474.9 to 66,327.9, registering a gain of 36.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were Bharat Electronics (up 94.0%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 93.8%) and Siemens (up 89.7%).

The BSE Sensex is at 77,578.4 (up 0.3%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are M&M (up 3.1%) and Tech Mahindra (up 1.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,518.5 (up 0.3%). M&M and Tech Mahindra are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,675.9 to 77,578.4, registering a gain of 11,902.5 points (up 18.1%).

Thermax Financial Update...

Thermax net profit grew 24.7% YoY to Rs 1,980 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,589 million a year ago. Net sales rose 13.4% to Rs 26,116 million during the period as against Rs 23,025 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Thermax reported 42.7% increase in net profit to Rs 6,432 million compared to net profit of Rs 4,507 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 15.2% to Rs 93,235 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Thermax, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 74.9.
