Technocraft Gains 6%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Down 0.2%

Technocraft share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 3,460.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 71,835.4 (down 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are V GUARD IND. (up 6.1%) and Lakshmi Machine (up 1.2%).

SKF India (down 3.1%) and GMR Infra (down 1.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Technocraft has moved up from Rs 1,926.5 to Rs 3,460.0, registering a gain of Rs 1,533.6 (up 79.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 43,332.6 to 71,835.4, registering a gain of 65.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 186.1%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 141.2%) and Bharat Electronics (up 126.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 78,997.3 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are SBI (up 1.1%) and Tata Motors (up 0.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,146.7 . Hindalco and HCl Tech. are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,401.9 to 78,997.3, registering a gain of 13,595.4 points (up 20.8%).

Technocraft Financial Update...

Technocraft net profit fell 7.4% YoY to Rs 839 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 906 million a year ago. Net sales rose 11.5% to Rs 6,204 million during the period as against Rs 5,565 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, Technocraft reported 0.0% decrease in net profit to Rs 2,745 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,746 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 3.8% to Rs 19,845 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Technocraft, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 29.1.
