TRF Gains 6%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Up 2.2%

TRF share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 465.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 70,155.5 (up 2.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are BHEL (up 5.2%) and Bharat Electronics (up 4.8%).

TIMKEN INDIA (down 0.3%) and V GUARD IND. (down 0.1%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, TRF has moved up from Rs 267.2 to Rs 465.5, registering a gain of Rs 198.3 (up 74.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 47,002.7 to 70,155.5, registering a gain of 49.3% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 126.7%), Bharat Electronics (up 118.0%) and Siemens (up 110.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,371.3 (up 1.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are TCS (up 4.4%) and HCl Tech. (up 4.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ITC and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,484.0 (up 1.1%). Bharat Electronics and TCS are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,958.7 to 80,371.3, registering a gain of 15,412.6 points (up 23.7%).

TRF Financial Update...

TRF net profit fell 64.2% YoY to Rs 60 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 168 million a year ago. Net sales declined 16.7% to Rs 327 million during the period as against Rs 393 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, TRF reported 54.8% decrease in net profit to Rs 396 million compared to net profit of Rs 875 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 21.0% to Rs 1,400 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of TRF, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 19.6.
