TIMEX GROUP share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 209.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 62,569.5 .

Among the top losers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are Voltas (down 1.5%) and WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA (down 1.2%).

RAJESH EXPORTS (up 3.3%) and VAIBHAV GEMS (up 2.8%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, TIMEX GROUP has moved up from Rs 181.8 to Rs 209.3, registering a gain of Rs 27.6 (up 15.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 46,415.4 to 62,569.5, registering a gain of 34.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 195.9%), AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (up 107.5%) and Voltas (up 100.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,380.1 (up 0.5%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (up 6.9%) and NTPC (up 2.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are NTPC and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,324.6 (up 0.5%). Adani Enterprises and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,174.2 to 80,380.1, registering a gain of 14,205.9 points (up 21.5%).

TIMEX GROUP Financial Update...

TIMEX GROUP net profit grew 61.9% YoY to Rs 178 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 110 million a year ago. Net sales rose 37.8% to Rs 1,741 million during the period as against Rs 1,264 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, TIMEX GROUP reported 55.2% decrease in net profit to Rs 208 million compared to net profit of Rs 465 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 9.2% to Rs 4,189 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of TIMEX GROUP, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 81.8.
