TIMEX GROUP share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 167.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 59,420.8 (up 0.4%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA (up 1.0%) and Blue Star (up 0.8%).

AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (down 1.4%) and VAIBHAV GEMS (down 0.5%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, TIMEX GROUP has moved down from Rs 170.9 to Rs 167.5, registering a loss of Rs 3.3 (down 2.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 43,172.8 to 59,420.8, registering a gain of 37.6% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 192.0%), Blue Star (up 116.4%) and AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (up 107.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,854.3 (up 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Bharti Airtel (up 2.0%) and Tata Steel (up 1.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,648.0 (up 0.3%). Coal India and BPCL are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,393.9 to 80,854.3, registering a gain of 15,460.4 points (up 23.6%).

TIMEX GROUP Financial Update...

TIMEX GROUP net profit fell 68.4% YoY to Rs 71 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 224 million a year ago. Net sales rose 10.5% to Rs 921 million during the period as against Rs 833 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, TIMEX GROUP reported 1344.7% increase in net profit to Rs 465 million compared to net profit of Rs 32 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 45.0% to Rs 3,835 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of TIMEX GROUP, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 81.1.
