TIMEX GROUP share price has zoomed 20% and is presently trading at Rs 149.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 62,964.6 (up 0.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (up 0.8%) and Blue Star (up 0.7%).

RAJESH EXPORTS (down 0.9%) and CROMPTON GREAVES CONSUMER ELEC. (down 0.8%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, TIMEX GROUP has moved down from Rs 189.5 to Rs 149.5, registering a loss of Rs 40.0 (down 21.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 44,784.7 to 62,964.6, registering a gain of 40.6% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 179.8%), AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (up 126.2%) and Voltas (up 118.5%).

The BSE Sensex is at 80,163.4 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Axis Bank (up 2.6%) and ITC (up 2.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Indusind Bank and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,393.2 . Indusind Bank and NTPC are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,571.9 to 80,163.4, registering a gain of 15,591.5 points (up 24.1%).

TIMEX GROUP Financial Update...

TIMEX GROUP net profit fell 42.8% YoY to Rs 24 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 43 million a year ago. Net sales rose 2.2% to Rs 1,087 million during the period as against Rs 1,063 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, TIMEX GROUP reported 55.2% decrease in net profit to Rs 208 million compared to net profit of Rs 465 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 9.2% to Rs 4,189 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of TIMEX GROUP, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 79.3.
