TEXMACO RAIL Gains 7%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Up 1.9%

TEXMACO RAIL share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 209.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 70,151.1 (up 1.9%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are GMR Infra (up 5.5%) and SCHAEFFLER INDIA (up 4.5%).

ADANI GREEN ENERGY (down 0.8%) and GRINDWELL NORTON (down 0.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, TEXMACO RAIL has moved up from Rs 66.6 to Rs 209.6, registering a gain of Rs 143.0 (up 214.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 38,798.4 to 70,151.1, registering a gain of 80.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 249.8%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 179.4%) and Bharat Electronics (up 143.5%).

The BSE Sensex is at 76,658.0 (up 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are L&T (up 2.4%) and Maruti Suzuki (up 1.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,329.3 (up 0.3%). ONGC and L&T are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,143.0 to 76,658.0, registering a gain of 13,515.0 points (up 21.4%).

TEXMACO RAIL Financial Update...

TEXMACO RAIL net profit grew 178.6% YoY to Rs 417 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 150 million a year ago. Net sales rose 37.0% to Rs 11,446 million during the period as against Rs 8,353 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, TEXMACO RAIL reported 5.6% decrease in net profit to Rs 115 million compared to net profit of Rs 122 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 38.3% to Rs 22,433 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of TEXMACO RAIL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 87.0.
