TEXMACO RAIL share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 197.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 67,909.0 (down 1.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are V GUARD IND. (up 3.3%) and GMR Infra (up 2.2%).

ABB (down 5.7%) and Siemens (down 5.1%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, TEXMACO RAIL has moved up from Rs 123.3 to Rs 197.5, registering a gain of Rs 74.3 (up 60.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 46,119.3 to 67,909.0, registering a gain of 47.2% during the last 12 months.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,436.0 (down 0.2%). M&M and Sun Pharma are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,571.9 to 80,082.0, registering a gain of 15,510.1 points (up 24.0%).

TEXMACO RAIL Financial Update...

TEXMACO RAIL net profit grew 242.8% YoY to Rs 293 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 85 million a year ago. Net sales rose 35.8% to Rs 8,917 million during the period as against Rs 6,568 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, TEXMACO RAIL reported 734.0% increase in net profit to Rs 962 million compared to net profit of Rs 115 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 56.1% to Rs 35,029 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of TEXMACO RAIL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 67.5.
