TEXMACO RAIL Gains 5%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Up 0.2%

TEXMACO RAIL share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 287.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 75,383.6 (up 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are BHEL (up 1.8%) and Finolex Cables (up 1.6%).

TIMKEN INDIA (down 2.2%) and Thermax (down 2.0%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, TEXMACO RAIL has moved up from Rs 81.1 to Rs 287.1, registering a gain of Rs 206.0 (up 254.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 40,584.0 to 75,383.6, registering a gain of 85.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 265.7%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 193.6%) and Bharat Electronics (up 173.1%).

The BSE Sensex is at 79,759.3 (down 0.2%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Nestle (down 1.6%) and Bajaj Finance (down 1.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Power Grid Corp..

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,282.1 (down 0.2%). Bajaj Finance and Nestle are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,344.2 to 79,759.3, registering a gain of 14,415.1 points (up 22.1%).

TEXMACO RAIL Financial Update...

TEXMACO RAIL net profit grew 178.6% YoY to Rs 417 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 150 million a year ago. Net sales rose 37.0% to Rs 11,446 million during the period as against Rs 8,353 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, TEXMACO RAIL reported 5.6% decrease in net profit to Rs 115 million compared to net profit of Rs 122 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 38.3% to Rs 22,433 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of TEXMACO RAIL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 119.2.
