TEGA INDUSTRIES share price has zoomed 8% and is presently trading at Rs 1,836.4.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 76,115.7 (up 0.7%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Carborundum Universal (up 2.4%) and ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 2.2%).

SCHAEFFLER INDIA (down 1.9%) and GRINDWELL NORTON (down 0.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, TEGA INDUSTRIES has moved up from Rs 980.4 to Rs 1,836.4, registering a gain of Rs 856.0 (up 87.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 40,720.4 to 76,115.7, registering a gain of 86.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 258.6%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 202.6%) and Bharat Electronics (up 177.0%).

The BSE Sensex is at 80,148.1 (up 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Maruti Suzuki (up 4.4%) and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (up 1.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,362.4 (up 0.2%). Maruti Suzuki and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,446.0 to 80,148.1, registering a gain of 14,702.1 points (up 22.5%).

TEGA INDUSTRIES Financial Update...

TEGA INDUSTRIES net profit grew 15.8% YoY to Rs 879 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 759 million a year ago. Net sales rose 27.9% to Rs 5,070 million during the period as against Rs 3,964 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, TEGA INDUSTRIES reported 57.4% increase in net profit to Rs 1,840 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,169 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 27.6% to Rs 12,140 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of TEGA INDUSTRIES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 64.5.
