TD POWER Gains 5%; BSE POWER Index Down 0.4%

TD POWER share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 406.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE POWER index is at 8,385.8 (down 0.4%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE POWER index today are Siemens (up 1.2%) and BHEL (up 1.1%).

INDIAN ENERGY EXCHANGE (down 2.5%) and NHPC (down 1.0%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, TD POWER has moved up from Rs 264.4 to Rs 406.7, registering a gain of Rs 142.4 (up 53.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE POWER index has moved up from 4,528.0 to 8,385.8, registering a gain of 85.2% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE POWER index stocks during this same period were TORRENT POWER (up 160.8%), Siemens (up 119.6%) and BHEL (up 107.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,807.5 (down 0.2%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Bajaj Finance (down 2.4%) and M&M (down 1.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Reliance Ind..

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,058.8 (down 0.3%). Bajaj Auto and Wipro are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,473.1 to 81,807.5, registering a gain of 15,334.4 points (up 23.1%).

TD POWER Financial Update...

TD POWER net profit grew 32.6% YoY to Rs 353 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 267 million a year ago. Net sales rose 24.3% to Rs 2,738 million during the period as against Rs 2,203 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, TD POWER reported 22.2% increase in net profit to Rs 1,183 million compared to net profit of Rs 968 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 14.7% to Rs 10,005 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of TD POWER, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 50.0.
