TARSONS PRODUCTS Gains 7%; BSE HEALTHCARE Index Down 0.3%

TARSONS PRODUCTS share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 533.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 37,193.1 (down 0.3%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are Sanofi India (up 5.0%) and SUVEN PHARMACEUTICALS (up 2.8%).

ALKEM LABORATORIES (down 2.6%) and Cadila Healthcare (down 2.1%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, TARSONS PRODUCTS has moved down from Rs 557.6 to Rs 533.0, registering a loss of Rs 24.6 (down 4.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 24,440.8 to 37,193.1, registering a gain of 52.2% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were Cadila Healthcare (up 109.7%), Jubilant Pharmova (up 103.1%) and POLY MEDICURE (up 99.4%).

The BSE Sensex is at 77,281.5 (up 0.4%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Wipro (up 2.7%) and M&M (up 2.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,570.0 (up 0.4%). M&M and Wipro are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,143.2 to 77,281.5, registering a gain of 14,138.3 points (up 22.4%).

TARSONS PRODUCTS Financial Update...

TARSONS PRODUCTS net profit fell 54.8% YoY to Rs 103 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 228 million a year ago. Net sales rose 28.8% to Rs 1,057 million during the period as against Rs 821 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, TARSONS PRODUCTS reported 19.8% decrease in net profit to Rs 807 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,007 million during FY22. Revenue of the company fell 5.8% to Rs 2,832 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of TARSONS PRODUCTS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 66.5.
