TARC Gains 6%; BSE REALTY Index Up 0.1%

TARC share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 221.4.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,687.0 (up 0.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are Phoenix Mill (up 1.3%) and DLF (up 0.5%).

Sobha (down 3.0%) and SUNTECK REALTY (down 1.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, TARC has moved up from Rs 64.2 to Rs 221.4, registering a gain of Rs 157.1 (up 244.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,196.4 to 8,687.0, registering a gain of 107.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were Sobha (up 266.6%), PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 217.6%) and INDIABULLS REAL EST (up 152.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,967.7 (up 0.7%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are HDFC Bank (up 2.6%) and Axis Bank (up 2.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,281.8 (up 0.7%). Tata Consumer Products and HDFC Bank are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,205.1 to 79,967.7, registering a gain of 14,762.7 points (up 22.6%).

TARC Financial Update...

TARC net profit fell 3490.2% YoY to Rs -517 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 15 million a year ago. Net sales declined 93.0% to Rs 95 million during the period as against Rs 1,350 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, TARC reported 108.8% increase in net profit to Rs 204 million compared to net loss of Rs 2,327 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 47.1% to Rs 3,687 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of TARC, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at -84.8.
