Symphony share price has plunged 4% and is presently trading at Rs 1,496.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 63,260.7 (down 0.5%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (down 4.9%) and ORIENT ELECTRIC (down 2.1%).

WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA (up 1.6%) and Voltas (up 1.0%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Symphony has moved up from Rs 880.9 to Rs 1,496.0, registering a gain of Rs 615.1 (up 69.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 43,963.1 to 63,260.7, registering a gain of 43.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 155.2%), Blue Star (up 127.7%) and Voltas (up 107.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 82,488.3 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Bajaj Finserv (up 3.4%) and HCl Tech. (up 3.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,262.1 (up 0.1%). Bajaj Finserv and HCl Tech. are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,075.8 to 82,488.3, registering a gain of 17,412.4 points (up 26.8%).

Symphony Financial Update...

Symphony net profit grew 266.7% YoY to Rs 880 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 240 million a year ago. Net sales rose 75.8% to Rs 5,310 million during the period as against Rs 3,020 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Symphony reported 27.8% increase in net profit to Rs 1,481 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,159 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 2.7% to Rs 11,561 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Symphony, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 48.7.
