Symphony share price has plunged 3% and is presently trading at Rs 1,779.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 65,990.2 (down 0.1%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (down 1.6%) and RAJESH EXPORTS (down 1.3%).

Blue Star (up 1.1%) and ORIENT ELECTRIC (up 1.1%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Symphony has moved up from Rs 874.6 to Rs 1,779.3, registering a gain of Rs 904.7 (up 103.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 46,193.2 to 65,990.2, registering a gain of 42.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 191.8%), Blue Star (up 131.8%) and Voltas (up 107.8%).

The BSE Sensex is at 81,817.3 (down 0.2%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Bajaj Finance (down 2.3%) and M&M (down 1.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Reliance Ind..

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,058.8 (down 0.3%). Bajaj Auto and Wipro are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,473.1 to 81,817.3, registering a gain of 15,344.3 points (up 23.1%).

Symphony Financial Update...

Symphony net profit grew 266.7% YoY to Rs 880 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 240 million a year ago. Net sales rose 75.8% to Rs 5,310 million during the period as against Rs 3,020 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Symphony reported 27.8% increase in net profit to Rs 1,481 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,159 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 2.7% to Rs 11,561 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Symphony, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 57.6.
