Symphony share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 1,558.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 60,607.7 (down 1.0%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are VAIBHAV GEMS (up 2.2%) and RAJESH EXPORTS (up 2.2%).

Voltas (down 3.7%) and WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA (down 1.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Symphony has moved up from Rs 846.2 to Rs 1,558.3, registering a gain of Rs 712.2 (up 84.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 43,864.3 to 60,607.7, registering a gain of 38.2% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 177.0%), Blue Star (up 111.5%) and AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (up 100.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,531.4 (down 0.5%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Tech Mahindra (down 4.7%) and HCl Tech. (down 3.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,236.8 (down 0.4%). Tech Mahindra and HCl Tech. are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,112.7 to 79,531.4, registering a gain of 15,418.7 points (up 24.0%).

Symphony Financial Update...

Symphony net profit grew 60.0% YoY to Rs 560 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 350 million a year ago. Net sales rose 14.5% to Rs 3,150 million during the period as against Rs 2,750 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Symphony reported 27.8% increase in net profit to Rs 1,481 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,159 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 2.7% to Rs 11,561 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Symphony, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 45.9.
