Symphony Gains 4%; BSE CONSUMER DURABLES Index Up 0.6%

Symphony share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 1,746.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 65,430.6 (up 0.6%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are Blue Star (up 2.9%) and DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 1.8%).

Voltas (down 0.3%) and WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA (down 0.1%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Symphony has moved up from Rs 866.2 to Rs 1,746.5, registering a gain of Rs 880.4 (up 101.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 45,865.9 to 65,430.6, registering a gain of 42.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 190.0%), Blue Star (up 125.7%) and Voltas (up 110.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,722.2 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Tata Motors (up 2.2%) and Tech Mahindra (up 1.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,050.8 (up 0.2%). Shriram Transport and Tata Motors are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,512.4 to 81,722.2, registering a gain of 16,209.9 points (up 24.7%).

Symphony Financial Update...

Symphony net profit grew 266.7% YoY to Rs 880 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 240 million a year ago. Net sales rose 75.8% to Rs 5,310 million during the period as against Rs 3,020 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Symphony reported 27.8% increase in net profit to Rs 1,481 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,159 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 2.7% to Rs 11,561 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Symphony, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 56.6.
