Symphony share price has zoomed 3% and is presently trading at Rs 1,188.9.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 59,120.7 (down 0.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are ORIENT ELECTRIC (up 1.8%) and AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (up 0.5%).

Bajaj Electricals (down 1.3%) and CROMPTON GREAVES CONSUMER ELEC. (down 0.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Symphony has moved up from Rs 917.7 to Rs 1,188.9, registering a gain of Rs 271.2 (up 29.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 42,891.3 to 59,120.7, registering a gain of 37.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 154.0%), Blue Star (up 109.8%) and Voltas (up 90.9%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 77,788.4 (up 0.6%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Axis Bank (up 2.5%) and HDFC Bank (up 2.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,665.1 (up 0.5%). Axis Bank and HDFC Bank are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,523.2 to 77,788.4, registering a gain of 14,265.2 points (up 22.5%).

Symphony Financial Update...

Symphony net profit grew 200.0% YoY to Rs 480 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 160 million a year ago. Net sales rose 7.8% to Rs 3,320 million during the period as against Rs 3,080 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, Symphony reported 4.1% decrease in net profit to Rs 1,159 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,209 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 14.3% to Rs 11,876 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Symphony, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 55.4.
