Symphony share price has zoomed 20% and is presently trading at Rs 1,470.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 57,879.8 (down 0.8%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are Voltas (up 0.9%) and Bajaj Electricals (up 0.3%).

Blue Star (down 4.9%) and ORIENT ELECTRIC (down 2.5%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Symphony has moved up from Rs 870.1 to Rs 1,470.0, registering a gain of Rs 600.0 (up 69.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 42,368.4 to 57,879.8, registering a gain of 36.6% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 170.4%), Blue Star (up 101.0%) and Voltas (up 82.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 78,746.0 .

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Bharti Airtel (down 1.4%) and M&M (down 1.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,033.1 (down 0.1%). HDFC LIFE INSURANCE and SBI LIFE INSURANCE are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,782.8 to 78,746.0, registering a gain of 12,963.2 points (up 19.7%).

Symphony Financial Update...

Symphony net profit grew 200.0% YoY to Rs 480 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 160 million a year ago. Net sales rose 7.8% to Rs 3,320 million during the period as against Rs 3,080 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Symphony reported 27.8% increase in net profit to Rs 1,481 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,159 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 2.7% to Rs 11,561 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Symphony, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 68.5.
