Symphony share price has zoomed 14% and is presently trading at Rs 1,710.4.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 58,508.6 (down 0.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (up 1.3%) and CROMPTON GREAVES CONSUMER ELEC. (up 0.7%).

VAIBHAV GEMS (down 0.3%) and Blue Star (down 0.1%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Symphony has moved up from Rs 884.4 to Rs 1,710.4, registering a gain of Rs 826.0 (up 93.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 42,308.7 to 58,508.6, registering a gain of 38.3% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 148.0%), Blue Star (up 120.6%) and Voltas (up 78.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,162.9 (down 0.4%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Infosys (down 2.1%) and Power Grid Corp. (down 2.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,197.2 (down 0.4%). BPCL and Infosys are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,953.5 to 79,162.9, registering a gain of 13,209.4 points (up 20.0%).

Symphony Financial Update...

Symphony net profit grew 266.7% YoY to Rs 880 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 240 million a year ago. Net sales rose 75.8% to Rs 5,310 million during the period as against Rs 3,020 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Symphony reported 27.8% increase in net profit to Rs 1,481 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,159 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 2.7% to Rs 11,561 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Symphony, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 55.6.
