Siemens share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 6,868.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 67,909.0 (down 1.2%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are ABB (down 5.7%) and BHEL (down 3.8%).

V GUARD IND. (up 3.3%) and GMR Infra (up 2.2%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Siemens has moved up from Rs 3,414.3 to Rs 6,868.0, registering a gain of Rs 3,453.8 (up 101.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 46,119.3 to 67,909.0, registering a gain of 47.2% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 129.3%), Bharat Electronics (up 102.9%) and Siemens (up 101.2%).

The BSE Sensex is at 80,082.0 (down 0.2%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are M&M (down 3.0%) and Sun Pharma (down 2.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,436.0 (down 0.2%). M&M and Sun Pharma are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,571.9 to 80,082.0, registering a gain of 15,510.1 points (up 24.0%).

Siemens Financial Update...

Siemens net profit grew 26.8% YoY to Rs 5,781 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 4,558 million a year ago. Net sales rose 6.8% to Rs 52,035 million during the period as against Rs 48,732 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended September 2023, Siemens reported 55.5% increase in net profit to Rs 19,619 million compared to net profit of Rs 12,619 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 21.2% to Rs 195,538 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Siemens, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 99.5.
