Siemens share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 7,380.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 70,731.1 (up 2.8%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 4.9%) and Bharat Electronics (up 4.8%).

Lakshmi Machine (down 1.2%) and GRINDWELL NORTON (down 0.8%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Siemens has moved up from Rs 3,502.5 to Rs 7,380.3, registering a gain of Rs 3,877.8 (up 110.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 47,570.0 to 70,731.1, registering a gain of 48.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 128.2%), Siemens (up 110.7%) and BHEL (up 109.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,634.8 (up 0.7%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (up 4.8%) and M&M (up 3.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,013.2 . TATA STEEL 2% CCPS and Dr Reddy NCD1 are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,226.0 to 81,634.8, registering a gain of 16,408.8 points (up 25.2%).

Siemens Financial Update...

Siemens net profit grew 26.8% YoY to Rs 5,781 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 4,558 million a year ago. Net sales rose 6.8% to Rs 52,035 million during the period as against Rs 48,732 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended September 2023, Siemens reported 55.5% increase in net profit to Rs 19,619 million compared to net profit of Rs 12,619 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 21.2% to Rs 195,538 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Siemens, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 106.9.
