Siemens share price has zoomed 3% and is presently trading at Rs 7,097.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 75,406.8 (up 2.7%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are GRINDWELL NORTON (up 5.6%) and TIMKEN INDIA (up 4.5%).

SKF India (down 1.2%) and Honeywell Automation (down 0.8%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Siemens has moved up from Rs 3,689.6 to Rs 7,097.0, registering a gain of Rs 3,407.5 (up 92.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 42,459.1 to 75,406.8, registering a gain of 77.6% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 230.4%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 161.6%) and Bharat Electronics (up 153.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,409.5 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are L&T (up 2.8%) and Bajaj Finserv (up 1.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,857.0 (up 0.1%). BPCL and Divis Laboratories are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,355.7 to 81,409.5, registering a gain of 15,053.8 points (up 22.7%).

Siemens Financial Update...

Siemens net profit grew 70.2% YoY to Rs 8,028 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 4,718 million a year ago. Net sales rose 18.4% to Rs 57,499 million during the period as against Rs 48,578 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended September 2023, Siemens reported 55.5% increase in net profit to Rs 19,619 million compared to net profit of Rs 12,619 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 21.2% to Rs 195,538 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Siemens, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 108.2.
