Siemens share price has zoomed 2% and is presently trading at Rs 7,595.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 72,489.2 (up 1.0%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Finolex Cables (up 3.2%) and Thermax (up 3.1%).

SKF India (down 1.8%) and SCHAEFFLER INDIA (down 1.6%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Siemens has moved up from Rs 3,806.6 to Rs 7,595.6, registering a gain of Rs 3,789.1 (up 99.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 39,945.7 to 72,489.2, registering a gain of 81.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 239.1%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 178.9%) and Bharat Electronics (up 152.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 77,341.1 (up 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are M&M (up 2.8%) and Power Grid Corp. (up 2.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and ICICI Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,537.8 (up 0.2%). M&M and Power Grid Corp. are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,523.2 to 77,341.1, registering a gain of 13,817.9 points (up 21.8%).

Siemens Financial Update...

Siemens net profit grew 70.2% YoY to Rs 8,028 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 4,718 million a year ago. Net sales rose 18.4% to Rs 57,499 million during the period as against Rs 48,578 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended September 2023, Siemens reported 55.5% increase in net profit to Rs 19,619 million compared to net profit of Rs 12,619 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 21.2% to Rs 195,538 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Siemens, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 115.8.
