Sasken Technologies Gains 5%; BSE IT Index Up 0.7%

Sasken Technologies share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 1,533.9.

Meanwhile, the BSE IT index is at 35,621.9 (up 0.7%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE IT index today are TANLA SOLUTIONS (up 5.7%) and Oracle Financial Services (up 4.7%).

ROUTE MOBILE (down 0.1%) is among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Sasken Technologies has moved up from Rs 855.3 to Rs 1,533.9, registering a gain of Rs 678.7 (up 79.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE IT index has moved up from 29,076.2 to 35,621.9, registering a gain of 22.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE IT index stocks during this same period were Oracle Financial Services (up 145.8%), INFIBEAM AVENUES (up 110.7%) and Birlasoft (up 100.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 77,005.4 (up 0.7%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Power Grid Corp. (up 1.5%) and HCl Tech. (up 1.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,427.2 (up 0.7%). Coal India and BPCL are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 62,724.7 to 77,005.4, registering a gain of 14,280.7 points (up 22.8%).

Sasken Technologies Financial Update...

Sasken Technologies net profit grew 0.9% YoY to Rs 172 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 171 million a year ago. Net sales rose 5.9% to Rs 1,090 million during the period as against Rs 1,029 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, Sasken Technologies reported 22.4% decrease in net profit to Rs 995 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,282 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 3.0% to Rs 4,470 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Sasken Technologies, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 29.4.
