Sanofi India Gains 4%; BSE HEALTHCARE Index Up 0.8%

Sanofi India share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 7,074.8.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 43,320.5 (up 0.8%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are POLY MEDICURE (up 6.0%) and GLAND PHARMA (up 4.3%).

SUN PHARMA ADV. RES. (down 1.0%) and HIKAL CHEMIC (down 0.5%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Sanofi India has moved down from Rs 7,139.2 to Rs 7,074.8, registering a loss of Rs 64.4 (down 0.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 27,871.2 to 43,320.5, registering a gain of 55.4% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were GRANULES INDIA (up 129.3%), Glenmark Pharma (up 125.8%) and SUVEN PHARMACEUTICALS (up 115.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 82,474.1 (down 0.1%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Bajaj Finance (down 1.9%) and Bajaj Finserv (down 1.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,256.7 (down 0.1%). Bajaj Finance and IOC are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,087.3 to 82,474.1, registering a gain of 17,386.8 points (up 26.7%).

Sanofi India Financial Update...

Sanofi India net profit fell 15.8% YoY to Rs 682 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 810 million a year ago. Net sales declined 10.0% to Rs 4,635 million during the period as against Rs 5,149 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended December 2023, Sanofi India reported 2.9% decrease in net profit to Rs 6,029 million compared to net profit of Rs 6,206 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 2.9% to Rs 28,511 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Sanofi India, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 33.0.
