SUZLON ENERGY share price has zoomed 3% and is presently trading at Rs 54.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE OIL & GAS index is at 28,731.2 (down 0.5%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE OIL & GAS index today are GUJARAT GAS (up 1.4%) and Petronet LNG (up 1.3%).

ADANI TOTAL GAS (down 1.3%) and GAIL (down 1.1%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, SUZLON ENERGY has moved up from Rs 14.0 to Rs 54.7, registering a gain of Rs 40.7 (up 291.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE OIL & GAS index has moved up from 18,362.7 to 28,731.2, registering a gain of 56.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE OIL & GAS index stocks during this same period were GAIL (up 99.0%), HPCL (up 84.9%) and IOC (up 80.8%).

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,537.8 (up 0.2%). M&M and Power Grid Corp. are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,523.2 to 77,341.1, registering a gain of 13,817.9 points (up 21.8%).

SUZLON ENERGY Financial Update...

SUZLON ENERGY net profit fell 20.6% YoY to Rs 2,541 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 3,200 million a year ago. Net sales rose 29.6% to Rs 21,962 million during the period as against Rs 16,941 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, SUZLON ENERGY reported 1837.3% increase in net profit to Rs 28,873 million compared to net loss of Rs 1,662 million during FY22. Revenue of the company fell 9.3% to Rs 59,705 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of SUZLON ENERGY, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 113.0.
