SUBEX Gains 7%; BSE IT Index Down 0.0%

SUBEX share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 32.9.

Meanwhile, the BSE IT index is at 38,029.0 .

Among the top gainers in the BSE IT index today are KPIT TECHNOLOGIES (up 2.9%) and TANLA SOLUTIONS (up 2.1%).

CYIENT (down 1.6%) and TCS (down 0.9%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, SUBEX has moved up from Rs 29.6 to Rs 32.9, registering a gain of Rs 3.3 (up 11.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE IT index has moved up from 29,747.6 to 38,029.0, registering a gain of 27.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE IT index stocks during this same period were Oracle Financial Services (up 171.4%), Birlasoft (up 100.6%) and ZENSAR TECHNOLOGIES (up 93.5%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,033.2 (up 0.7%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are HDFC Bank (up 3.1%) and Axis Bank (up 2.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are HDFC Bank and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,273.2 (up 0.6%). HDFC Bank and Axis Bank are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,205.1 to 80,033.2, registering a gain of 14,828.1 points (up 22.7%).

SUBEX Financial Update...

SUBEX net profit fell 231.7% YoY to Rs -1,565 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 472 million a year ago. Net sales rose 77.3% to Rs 838 million during the period as against Rs 473 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, SUBEX reported 344.0% decrease in net profit to Rs -512 million compared to net profit of Rs 210 million during FY22. Revenue of the company fell 16.4% to Rs 2,787 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of SUBEX, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at -9.6.
