STERLING AND WILSON SOLAR share price has plunged 4% and is presently trading at Rs 573.4.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 70,782.3 (down 3.1%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are GMR Infra (down 5.3%) and BHEL (down 4.4%).

Over the last one year, STERLING AND WILSON SOLAR has moved up from Rs 352.0 to Rs 573.4, registering a gain of Rs 221.4 (up 62.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 48,209.1 to 70,782.3, registering a gain of 46.8% during the last 12 months.

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Asian Paints (down 4.4%) and Maruti Suzuki (down 4.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are HDFC Bank and Reliance Ind..

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,255.2 (down 2.1%). BPCL and IOC are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,512.1 to 82,510.4, registering a gain of 16,998.3 points (up 25.9%).

STERLING AND WILSON SOLAR Financial Update...

STERLING AND WILSON SOLAR net profit grew 105.1% YoY to Rs 48 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 953 million a year ago. Net sales rose 77.7% to Rs 9,151 million during the period as against Rs 5,150 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, STERLING AND WILSON SOLAR reported 82.1% increase in net profit to Rs -2,108 million compared to net loss of Rs 11,750 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 50.6% to Rs 30,354 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of STERLING AND WILSON SOLAR, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at -120.9.
