SKIPPER Gains 7%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Up 1.2%

SKIPPER share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 473.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 69,611.5 (up 1.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 2.2%) and BHEL (up 1.8%).

Carborundum Universal (down 1.2%) and GRINDWELL NORTON (down 0.9%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, SKIPPER has moved up from Rs 212.2 to Rs 473.1, registering a gain of Rs 260.9 (up 123.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 47,570.0 to 69,611.5, registering a gain of 46.3% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 122.2%), BHEL (up 104.9%) and Siemens (up 102.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,329.8 (up 0.3%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (up 1.6%) and Hindustan Unilever (up 1.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,874.0 (up 0.3%). MUNDRA PORT & SEZ and Bharat Electronics are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,226.0 to 81,329.8, registering a gain of 16,103.7 points (up 24.7%).

SKIPPER Financial Update...

SKIPPER net profit grew 125.3% YoY to Rs 316 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 140 million a year ago. Net sales rose 96.9% to Rs 10,917 million during the period as against Rs 5,546 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, SKIPPER reported 129.6% increase in net profit to Rs 817 million compared to net profit of Rs 356 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 65.7% to Rs 32,820 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of SKIPPER, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 57.9.
