SKIPPER Gains 5%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Up 0.9%

SKIPPER share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 539.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 67,901.6 (up 0.9%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Bharat Forge (up 3.3%) and GRINDWELL NORTON (up 2.6%).

Honeywell Automation (down 7.5%) and Thermax (down 1.8%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, SKIPPER has moved up from Rs 215.9 to Rs 539.0, registering a gain of Rs 323.1 (up 149.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 45,914.5 to 67,901.6, registering a gain of 47.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 132.4%), Bharat Electronics (up 119.7%) and Siemens (up 102.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,014.2 (down 0.4%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Infosys (down 1.7%) and Axis Bank (down 1.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Motors and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,355.6 (down 0.5%). Cipla and Trent are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,112.7 to 80,014.2, registering a gain of 15,901.6 points (up 24.8%).

SKIPPER Financial Update...

SKIPPER net profit grew 78.8% YoY to Rs 339 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 190 million a year ago. Net sales rose 43.7% to Rs 11,097 million during the period as against Rs 7,724 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, SKIPPER reported 129.6% increase in net profit to Rs 817 million compared to net profit of Rs 356 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 65.7% to Rs 32,820 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of SKIPPER, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 56.8.
