SIGACHI INDUSTRIES Gains 5%; BSE HEALTHCARE Index Up 0.6%

SIGACHI INDUSTRIES share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 66.2.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 36,717.9 (up 0.6%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are MAX HEALTHCARE INSTITUTE (up 8.2%) and POLY MEDICURE (up 2.4%).

METROPOLIS HEALTHCARE (down 2.3%) and Abbott India (down 1.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, SIGACHI INDUSTRIES has moved up from Rs 25.2 to Rs 66.2, registering a gain of Rs 41.0 (up 163.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 24,190.1 to 36,717.9, registering a gain of 51.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were Cadila Healthcare (up 112.5%), Jubilant Pharmova (up 105.4%) and GLAND PHARMA (up 96.8%).

The BSE Sensex is at 76,924.8 (up 0.6%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Power Grid Corp. (up 2.1%) and Bajaj Finance (up 2.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,412.4 (up 0.6%). Coal India and Eicher Motor are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 62,724.7 to 76,924.8, registering a gain of 14,200.1 points (up 22.6%).

SIGACHI INDUSTRIES Financial Update...

SIGACHI INDUSTRIES net profit grew 107.4% YoY to Rs 152 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 73 million a year ago. Net sales rose 43.8% to Rs 1,041 million during the period as against Rs 724 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, SIGACHI INDUSTRIES reported 8.7% increase in net profit to Rs 435 million compared to net profit of Rs 400 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 20.7% to Rs 3,020 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of SIGACHI INDUSTRIES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 37.9.
