SHRIRAM EPC share price has plunged 4% and is presently trading at Rs 19.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 72,809.0 (up 0.4%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are AIA Engineering (down 1.7%) and GRINDWELL NORTON (down 1.2%).

TIMKEN INDIA (up 3.5%) and Finolex Cables (up 3.4%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, SHRIRAM EPC has moved up from Rs 9.9 to Rs 19.6, registering a gain of Rs 9.7 (up 98.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 39,945.7 to 72,809.0, registering a gain of 82.3% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 238.2%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 181.0%) and Bharat Electronics (up 153.7%).

The BSE Sensex is at 77,559.3 (up 0.3%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Axis Bank (up 1.8%) and Ultratech Cement (up 1.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,595.8 (up 0.3%). Axis Bank and HDFC Bank are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,523.2 to 77,559.3, registering a gain of 14,036.1 points (up 22.1%).

SHRIRAM EPC Financial Update...

SHRIRAM EPC net profit grew 133.1% YoY to Rs 67 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 201 million a year ago. Net sales rose 3.9% to Rs 1,478 million during the period as against Rs 1,422 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, SHRIRAM EPC reported 98.1% increase in net profit to Rs -49 million compared to net loss of Rs 2,637 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 15.0% to Rs 3,788 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of SHRIRAM EPC, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 134.4.
