SHAKTI PUMPS share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 4,843.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 71,525.4 (down 2.7%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today is V GUARD IND. (up 2.3%).

Bharat Forge (down 5.1%) and GRINDWELL NORTON (down 3.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, SHAKTI PUMPS has moved up from Rs 721.4 to Rs 4,843.5, registering a gain of Rs 4,122.2 (up 571.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 43,869.5 to 71,525.4, registering a gain of 63.0% during the last 12 months.

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Tata Motors (down 4.3%) and Tata Steel (down 3.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,271.9 (down 1.8%). Tata Motors and Hindalco are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,459.3 to 79,486.0, registering a gain of 13,026.7 points (up 19.6%).

SHAKTI PUMPS Financial Update...

SHAKTI PUMPS net profit grew 9166.0% YoY to Rs 927 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 10 million a year ago. Net sales rose 402.0% to Rs 5,676 million during the period as against Rs 1,131 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, SHAKTI PUMPS reported 62.8% decrease in net profit to Rs 241 million compared to net profit of Rs 648 million during FY22. Revenue of the company fell 17.9% to Rs 9,677 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of SHAKTI PUMPS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 41.6.
