SEQUENT SCIENTIFIC share price has plunged 3% and is presently trading at Rs 188.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 44,177.0 (up 0.1%).

Among the top losers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are ALEMBIC PHARMA (down 2.2%) and AJANTA PHARMA (down 1.8%).

CAPLIN POINT (up 3.4%) and Abbott India (up 1.6%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, SEQUENT SCIENTIFIC has moved up from Rs 109.9 to Rs 188.0, registering a gain of Rs 78.1 (up 71.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 28,166.2 to 44,177.0, registering a gain of 56.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were Jubilant Pharmova (up 190.5%), Glenmark Pharma (up 117.2%) and SUVEN PHARMACEUTICALS (up 115.3%).

The BSE Sensex is at 80,780.7 (down 0.3%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Infosys (down 4.1%) and Tech Mahindra (down 2.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,741.6 . Infosys and ITC are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,166.9 to 80,780.7, registering a gain of 14,613.8 points (up 22.1%).

SEQUENT SCIENTIFIC Financial Update...

SEQUENT SCIENTIFIC net profit grew 126.1% YoY to Rs 91 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 347 million a year ago. Net sales rose 17.1% to Rs 3,902 million during the period as against Rs 3,332 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, SEQUENT SCIENTIFIC reported 75.7% increase in net profit to Rs -296 million compared to net loss of Rs 1,220 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 3.6% to Rs 13,697 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of SEQUENT SCIENTIFIC, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 332.2.
