SARDA ENERGY & MIN share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 451.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 31,535.1 (up 0.5%).

Among the top losers in the BSE METAL index today are APOLLO TUBES (down 2.4%) and Vedanta .

Hindustan Zinc (up 2.1%) and Jindal Steel (up 1.5%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, SARDA ENERGY & MIN has moved up from Rs 205.0 to Rs 451.3, registering a gain of Rs 246.3 (up 120.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 22,292.0 to 31,535.1, registering a gain of 41.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Vedanta (up 118.1%), Hindustan Zinc (up 91.7%) and Hindalco (up 52.6%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are ICICI Bank (down 1.7%) and Axis Bank (down 1.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Power Grid Corp. and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,437.3 (down 0.1%). Cipla and SBI LIFE INSURANCE are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,112.7 to 80,209.9, registering a gain of 16,097.3 points (up 25.1%).

SARDA ENERGY & MIN Financial Update...

SARDA ENERGY & MIN net profit grew 11.5% YoY to Rs 1,945 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,745 million a year ago. Net sales declined 12.0% to Rs 9,262 million during the period as against Rs 10,521 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, SARDA ENERGY & MIN reported 15.9% decrease in net profit to Rs 5,086 million compared to net profit of Rs 6,050 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 8.2% to Rs 38,681 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of SARDA ENERGY & MIN, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 30.1.
