SARDA ENERGY & MIN share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 295.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 31,006.8 (down 0.6%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today is Coal India (up 0.2%).

Hindustan Zinc (down 3.3%) and APOLLO TUBES (down 1.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, SARDA ENERGY & MIN has moved up from Rs 190.9 to Rs 295.5, registering a gain of Rs 104.6 (up 54.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 21,923.7 to 31,006.8, registering a gain of 41.4% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Coal India (up 123.6%), NMDC (up 100.5%) and Hindustan Zinc (up 85.5%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are HDFC Bank (down 2.7%) and Tata Motors (down 1.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and HDFC Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,238.1 (down 0.5%). HDFC Bank and Shriram Transport are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,995.8 to 79,255.9, registering a gain of 13,260.1 points (up 20.1%).

SARDA ENERGY & MIN Financial Update...

SARDA ENERGY & MIN net profit grew 11.5% YoY to Rs 1,945 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,745 million a year ago. Net sales declined 12.0% to Rs 9,262 million during the period as against Rs 10,521 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, SARDA ENERGY & MIN reported 25.1% decrease in net profit to Rs 6,050 million compared to net profit of Rs 8,082 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 7.6% to Rs 42,119 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of SARDA ENERGY & MIN, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 19.7.
