Reliance Ind. share price has plunged 3% and is presently trading at Rs 3,025.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE OIL & GAS index is at 31,013.6 (up 0.7%).

Among the top losers in the BSE OIL & GAS index today is Petronet LNG (down 0.6%).

BPCL (up 3.5%) and HPCL (up 3.1%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Reliance Ind. has moved up from Rs 2,822.4 to Rs 3,025.5, registering a gain of Rs 203.1 (up 7.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE OIL & GAS index has moved up from 19,160.0 to 31,013.6, registering a gain of 61.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE OIL & GAS index stocks during this same period were GAIL (up 106.7%), ONGC (up 93.4%) and HPCL (up 81.8%).

The BSE Sensex is at 80,717.1 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are NTPC (up 2.9%) and HDFC Bank (up 2.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,568.7 (up 0.2%). BPCL and NTPC are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,795.1 to 80,717.1, registering a gain of 13,921.9 points (up 20.8%).

Reliance Ind. Financial Update...

Reliance Ind. net profit fell 4.0% YoY to Rs 174,480 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 181,820 million a year ago. Net sales rose 12.0% to Rs 2,362,170 million during the period as against Rs 2,108,310 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, Reliance Ind. reported 11.3% increase in net profit to Rs 736,700 million compared to net profit of Rs 661,840 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 29.4% to Rs 7,808,060 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Reliance Ind., based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 26.3.
