Ramco Systems Gains 6%; BSE IT Index Up 0.7%

Ramco Systems share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 420.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE IT index is at 43,450.4 (up 0.7%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE IT index today are Eclerx Services (up 2.7%) and Infosys (up 1.6%).

Oracle Financial Services (down 0.5%) and ROUTE MOBILE (down 0.1%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Ramco Systems has moved up from Rs 274.0 to Rs 420.0, registering a gain of Rs 146.0 (up 53.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE IT index has moved up from 33,147.7 to 43,450.4, registering a gain of 31.1% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE IT index stocks during this same period were Oracle Financial Services (up 191.7%), Firstsource Solutions (up 115.5%) and PERSISTENT SYSTEMS (up 80.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,329.3 (up 0.3%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Infosys (up 1.6%) and Bharti Airtel (up 1.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are HDFC Bank and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,310.4 (up 0.4%). Infosys and Bharat Electronics are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,023.2 to 80,329.3, registering a gain of 14,306.1 points (up 21.7%).

Ramco Systems Financial Update...

Ramco Systems net profit grew 93.4% YoY to Rs -96 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 1,458 million a year ago. Net sales rose 12.4% to Rs 1,425 million during the period as against Rs 1,268 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Ramco Systems reported 16.8% decrease in net profit to Rs -2,417 million compared to net loss of Rs 2,069 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 6.8% to Rs 5,258 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Ramco Systems, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at -19.9.
