Puravankara Gains 4%; BSE REALTY Index Down 0.6%

Puravankara share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 419.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,111.5 (down 0.6%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are SUNTECK REALTY (up 0.5%) and DLF (up 0.3%).

PRESTIGE ESTATES (down 2.6%) and Sobha (down 1.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Puravankara has moved up from Rs 137.9 to Rs 419.7, registering a gain of Rs 281.9 (up 204.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,870.1 to 8,111.5, registering a gain of 66.6% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 141.9%), Sobha (up 127.1%) and Brigade Enterprises (up 108.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,780.7 (down 0.3%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Infosys (down 4.1%) and Tech Mahindra (down 2.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,741.6 . Infosys and ITC are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,166.9 to 80,780.7, registering a gain of 14,613.8 points (up 22.1%).

Puravankara Financial Update...

Puravankara net profit grew 184.3% YoY to Rs 144 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 171 million a year ago. Net sales rose 103.7% to Rs 6,583 million during the period as against Rs 3,233 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Puravankara reported 36.9% decrease in net profit to Rs 420 million compared to net profit of Rs 665 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 76.8% to Rs 21,853 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Puravankara, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 123.4.
