Piramal Enterprises share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 1,051.9.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 43,760.1 (down 1.1%).

Among the top losers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are J.B.Chemicals (down 4.9%) and CAPLIN POINT (down 4.0%).

ALEMBIC PHARMA (up 4.2%) and GRANULES INDIA (up 2.7%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Piramal Enterprises has moved up from Rs 1,050.9 to Rs 1,051.9, registering a gain of Rs 0.9 (up 0.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 28,428.9 to 43,760.1, registering a gain of 53.9% during the last 12 months.

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Asian Paints (down 4.4%) and L&T (down 4.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are HDFC Bank and Reliance Ind..

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,255.2 (down 2.1%). BPCL and IOC are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,512.1 to 82,557.8, registering a gain of 17,045.7 points (up 26.0%).

Piramal Enterprises Financial Update...

Piramal Enterprises net profit fell 64.3% YoY to Rs 1,739 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 4,877 million a year ago. Net sales declined 26.2% to Rs 21,228 million during the period as against Rs 28,780 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Piramal Enterprises reported 116.9% decrease in net profit to Rs -16,835 million compared to net profit of Rs 99,686 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 12.2% to Rs 100,203 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Piramal Enterprises, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at -11.0.
