Piramal Enterprises share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 945.4.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 37,438.0 (up 0.8%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are FDC (up 5.7%) and Glenmark Pharma (up 2.6%).

ALEMBIC PHARMA (down 2.7%) and AARTI DRUGS (down 2.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Piramal Enterprises has moved down from Rs 956.0 to Rs 945.4, registering a loss of Rs 10.6 (down 1.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 25,627.6 to 37,438.0, registering a gain of 46.1% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were Glenmark Pharma (up 94.3%), Cadila Healthcare (up 89.6%) and GSK Pharma (up 83.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,010.5 (up 0.7%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (up 2.6%) and Kotak Bank (up 2.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,295.6 (up 0.7%). Tata Consumer Products and Kotak Bank are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,205.1 to 80,010.5, registering a gain of 14,805.4 points (up 22.7%).

Piramal Enterprises Financial Update...

Piramal Enterprises net profit grew 170.8% YoY to Rs 1,479 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 2,090 million a year ago. Net sales rose 16.0% to Rs 24,733 million during the period as against Rs 21,317 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Piramal Enterprises reported 116.9% decrease in net profit to Rs -16,835 million compared to net profit of Rs 99,686 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 12.2% to Rs 100,203 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Piramal Enterprises, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at -11.6.
