Phoenix Mill Gains 6%; BSE REALTY Index Up 1.2%

Phoenix Mill share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 3,828.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,639.7 (up 1.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are Godrej Properties (up 1.9%) and DLF (up 1.5%).

PRESTIGE ESTATES (down 1.7%) is among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Phoenix Mill has moved up from Rs 1,652.6 to Rs 3,828.5, registering a gain of Rs 2,175.9 (up 131.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,332.6 to 8,639.7, registering a gain of 99.4% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 233.2%), Sobha (up 190.6%) and Phoenix Mill (up 131.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,665.0 (up 0.4%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Tata Motors (up 4.7%) and NTPC (up 3.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Axis Bank and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,923.8 (up 0.4%). BPCL and Tata Motors are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,707.2 to 81,665.0, registering a gain of 14,957.8 points (up 22.4%).

Phoenix Mill Financial Update...

Phoenix Mill net profit grew 32.6% YoY to Rs 3,888 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 2,932 million a year ago. Net sales rose 79.1% to Rs 13,059 million during the period as against Rs 7,290 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, Phoenix Mill reported 493.8% increase in net profit to Rs 14,725 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,480 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 77.8% to Rs 26,383 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Phoenix Mill, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 51.6.
