PROTEAN EGOV TECH share price has plunged 6% and is presently trading at Rs 1,746.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE IT index is at 39,337.4 (up 0.3%).

Among the top losers in the BSE IT index today are TANLA SOLUTIONS (down 2.5%) and INFIBEAM AVENUES (down 1.9%).

Firstsource Solutions (up 5.6%) and Sonata Software (up 3.6%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, PROTEAN EGOV TECH has moved up from Rs 0.0 to Rs 1,746.0, registering a gain of Rs 1,746.0 .

On the other hand, the BSE IT index has moved up from 30,385.2 to 39,337.4, registering a gain of 29.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE IT index stocks during this same period were Oracle Financial Services (up 155.3%), INFIBEAM AVENUES (up 107.6%) and Firstsource Solutions (up 101.0%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Bharti Airtel (down 1.4%) and M&M (down 1.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,033.1 (down 0.1%). HDFC LIFE INSURANCE and SBI LIFE INSURANCE are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,782.8 to 78,746.0, registering a gain of 12,963.2 points (up 19.7%).

PROTEAN EGOV TECH Financial Update...

PROTEAN EGOV TECH net profit fell {profitpercent} YoY to Rs 193 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs {profitnumberprev} million a year ago. Net sales declined {salespercent} to Rs 2,221 million during the period as against Rs {salesnumberprev} million in {quarterprev}.

For the year ended March 2023, PROTEAN EGOV TECH reported 25.6% decrease in net profit to Rs 1,070 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,439 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 7.4% to Rs 7,422 million during FY23.
