PROTEAN EGOV TECH share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 1,512.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE IT index is at 40,548.0 (down 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE IT index today are PERSISTENT SYSTEMS (up 3.9%) and L&T TECHNOLOGY SERVICES (up 2.6%).

Wipro (down 9.2%) and INTELLECT DESIGN (down 5.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, PROTEAN EGOV TECH has moved up from Rs 0.0 to Rs 1,512.3, registering a gain of Rs 1,512.3 .

On the other hand, the BSE IT index has moved up from 31,739.1 to 40,548.0, registering a gain of 27.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE IT index stocks during this same period were Oracle Financial Services (up 175.7%), PERSISTENT SYSTEMS (up 91.3%) and INFIBEAM AVENUES (up 86.4%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Kotak Bank (down 3.9%) and Reliance Ind. (down 3.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,505.6 (down 0.1%). Wipro and Kotak Bank are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,795.1 to 80,484.2, registering a gain of 13,689.1 points (up 20.5%).

PROTEAN EGOV TECH Financial Update...

PROTEAN EGOV TECH net profit fell {profitpercent} YoY to Rs 193 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs {profitnumberprev} million a year ago. Net sales declined {salespercent} to Rs 2,221 million during the period as against Rs {salesnumberprev} million in {quarterprev}.

For the year ended March 2023, PROTEAN EGOV TECH reported 25.6% decrease in net profit to Rs 1,070 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,439 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 7.4% to Rs 7,422 million during FY23.
