PRAKASH INDUSTRIES share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 163.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 61,408.7 (down 0.9%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are RAJESH EXPORTS (up 2.2%) and Titan (up 0.6%).

DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (down 4.0%) and Voltas (down 3.8%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, PRAKASH INDUSTRIES has moved down from Rs 163.6 to Rs 163.3, registering a loss of Rs 0.3 (down 0.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 43,864.3 to 61,408.7, registering a gain of 40.0% during the last 12 months.

The BSE Sensex is at 80,014.2 (down 0.4%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Infosys (down 1.7%) and Axis Bank (down 1.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Motors and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,355.6 (down 0.5%). Cipla and Trent are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,112.7 to 80,014.2, registering a gain of 15,901.6 points (up 24.8%).

PRAKASH INDUSTRIES Financial Update...

PRAKASH INDUSTRIES net profit grew 1.2% YoY to Rs 905 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 894 million a year ago. Net sales rose 15.2% to Rs 11,669 million during the period as against Rs 10,133 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, PRAKASH INDUSTRIES reported 82.8% increase in net profit to Rs 3,482 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,905 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 6.8% to Rs 36,778 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of PRAKASH INDUSTRIES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 8.4.
