PNC INFRATECH Plunges 8%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Up 1.9%

PNC INFRATECH share price has plunged 8% and is presently trading at Rs 480.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 70,145.6 (up 1.9%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are ADANI GREEN ENERGY (down 0.8%) and GRINDWELL NORTON (down 0.6%).

GMR Infra (up 5.4%) and SCHAEFFLER INDIA (up 4.5%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, PNC INFRATECH has moved up from Rs 322.8 to Rs 480.1, registering a gain of Rs 157.3 (up 48.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 38,798.4 to 70,145.6, registering a gain of 80.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 250.1%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 179.7%) and Bharat Electronics (up 143.6%).

The BSE Sensex is at 76,689.1 (up 0.3%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are L&T (up 2.3%) and Maruti Suzuki (up 1.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,333.5 (up 0.3%). ONGC and L&T are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,143.0 to 76,689.1, registering a gain of 13,546.1 points (up 21.5%).

PNC INFRATECH Financial Update...

PNC INFRATECH net profit grew 171.2% YoY to Rs 3,959 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,460 million a year ago. Net sales rose 12.8% to Rs 26,002 million during the period as against Rs 23,049 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, PNC INFRATECH reported 13.4% increase in net profit to Rs 6,585 million compared to net profit of Rs 5,804 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 10.4% to Rs 79,561 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of PNC INFRATECH, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 13.5.
