PNC INFRATECH Gains 3%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Up 0.3%

PNC INFRATECH share price has zoomed 3% and is presently trading at Rs 489.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 72,702.7 (up 0.3%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are TIMKEN INDIA (up 2.9%) and Finolex Cables (up 2.6%).

AIA Engineering (down 1.9%) and Thermax (down 1.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, PNC INFRATECH has moved up from Rs 329.8 to Rs 489.0, registering a gain of Rs 159.2 (up 48.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 39,945.7 to 72,702.7, registering a gain of 82.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 237.6%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 179.7%) and Bharat Electronics (up 152.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 77,919.3 (up 0.7%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Axis Bank (up 3.1%) and HDFC Bank (up 2.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are HDFC Bank and Power Grid Corp..

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,664.9 (up 0.5%). Axis Bank and HDFC Bank are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,523.2 to 77,919.3, registering a gain of 14,396.1 points (up 22.7%).

PNC INFRATECH Financial Update...

PNC INFRATECH net profit grew 171.2% YoY to Rs 3,959 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,460 million a year ago. Net sales rose 12.8% to Rs 26,002 million during the period as against Rs 23,049 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, PNC INFRATECH reported 13.4% increase in net profit to Rs 6,585 million compared to net profit of Rs 5,804 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 10.4% to Rs 79,561 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of PNC INFRATECH, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 13.8.
