P&G Hygiene share price has plunged 3% and is presently trading at Rs 15,951.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE FMCG index is at 22,260.6 (down 0.5%).

Among the top losers in the BSE FMCG index today are Godfrey Phillips (down 2.1%) and CCL PRODUCTS (down 1.7%).

Colgate (up 1.2%) and BOM.BURMAH (up 1.2%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, P&G Hygiene has moved down from Rs 17,592.1 to Rs 15,951.7, registering a loss of Rs 1,640.4 (down 9.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE FMCG index has moved up from 18,958.8 to 22,260.6, registering a gain of 17.4% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE FMCG index stocks during this same period were Godfrey Phillips (up 211.8%), BOM.BURMAH (up 126.2%) and RADICO KHAITAN (up 76.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,312.9 (up 0.4%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Axis Bank (up 6.0%) and Tata Motors (up 2.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,858.1 (up 0.4%). Axis Bank and Wipro are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,166.9 to 81,312.9, registering a gain of 15,146.0 points (up 22.9%).

P&G Hygiene Financial Update...

P&G Hygiene net profit fell 46.4% YoY to Rs 811 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,512 million a year ago. Net sales rose 9.3% to Rs 9,318 million during the period as against Rs 8,525 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended June 2023, P&G Hygiene reported 17.8% increase in net profit to Rs 6,781 million compared to net profit of Rs 5,758 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 0.4% to Rs 39,179 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of P&G Hygiene, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 76.7.
